An active member of the Washington Metropolitan medical community for more than 25 years, Shelia Levin, M.D., has served as chief of gastroenterology for the greater D.C. area Kaiser Permanente Health Plan and chair of the Gastroenterology division at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital. Prior to attending medical school, she taught mathematics (algebra) for eight years.
Dr. Levin has been consistently recognized by her peers as a "Top Doctor" in Washingtonian magazine.
