Dr. Robert M. Eisdorfer graduated from Washington and Lee University and the New York State Program at the Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel. Dr. Eisdorfer did his Internship, Residency and was Chief Medical Resident at the State University of New York Medical Center in Syracuse, N.Y., where he stayed on as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine and Director of the V.A. Hospital Emergency Department. Dr. Eisdorfer completed his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Eisdorfer is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He joined Dr. Schulman and Dr. Levin in 1991. Dr. Eisdorfer is on the active staff at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital. He is past Chairman of the Gastroenterology Division at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital and current Executive Committee Member. Dr. Eisdorfer has twice been named to the Washingtonian Magazine's "Top Doctors" list.
