Dr. Julia C. Korenman is a graduate of Princeton University and the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. She completed her Internship and Residency in the New York University Hospital system. She completed her Gastroenterology Fellowship at Georgetown University Hospital/Washington V.A. Medical Center. Dr. Korenman also completed a two-year Hepatology Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Korenman is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. She served for eight years as a specialist in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Kaiser Permanente prior to joining Digestive Disease Consultants in 1998.
Dr. Korenman has been named to Washingtonian Magazine's "Top Doctors" list.
